Construction Industry Backs Growth: What £500,000 of New Investment Means for Trades

The construction sector is showing real signs of momentum heading into the second half of 2026. One of the standout announcements this week comes from Insight Data, a specialist in construction intelligence, which has revealed a £500,000 investment and the creation of seven new roles — a clear signal that confidence is returning to the industry after a challenging few years.

According to Insight Data’s CEO Andrew Scott, the investment is being channelled into a new technology platform designed to help construction businesses attract, convert, and retain customers more effectively. The firm has also doubled the size of its software team and is developing an AI-driven outbound sales operation to support growth across the sector.

For businesses operating in the electrical and gate automation space — like us here at C and B Technical Installations — this kind of sectoral confidence matters. When the wider construction industry is investing, homeowners and commercial clients are investing too. Demand for high-quality automated gate systems, access control, and security installations tends to follow the upward curve of the building cycle.

Scott’s comments also reflect a broader shift taking place across construction: the sector is diversifying rapidly, embracing technology, and raising standards. For clients in Cobham, Surrey, and the surrounding areas, that means more professional, more accountable trades — exactly what C and B Technical Installations has always delivered.

Whether you’re looking for electric gates in Cobham, automated access systems for a commercial site, or security installation across Surrey and Berkshire, our experienced team is here to help. Discover the full range of services at candbtechnical.co.uk.
